About Hotel Rudra Kripa
A heritage-inspired boutique hotel on Udaipur’s quieter side, with Rajasthani interiors, two room types and a pool on the roof.
Hotel Rudra Kripa is in Sukher, north of Udaipur’s old city: a calm boutique hotel in Udaipur to come back to after a day of palaces and lakes.
A house full of detail
The hotel is decorated in the Rajasthani manner, with walls in royal colours and furniture with elaborate carvings. Painted arches frame a corridor laid with a red and gold runner. In the lobby, a colourful Ganesha looks out from a carved stone niche; the reception sits under a painted arch and chandeliers; and the double-height lounge has leather sofas, potted palms and a white staircase. Up on the roof, white cusped arches frame the view from the Roof Top Cafe.
The same style carries into the rooms. In the Deluxe Room, the bed is dressed in white linen with a mustard-gold runner; the Super Deluxe Room has a dark-wood four-poster with sheer canopy curtains, a painted ceiling border and carved armchairs under tall windows. Alongside the craft are the comforts you expect today: air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom.
Rooms, food and the rooftop
There are two room types. The Deluxe Room has a queen-size bed, and breakfast is included. The Super Deluxe Room gives you more space, the four-poster, a tea/coffee maker and satellite channels. Room service is available, and the reception is open 24/7.
The multi-cuisine restaurant serves traditional Rajasthani dishes through to continental and international favourites, in an indoor dining hall with carved chairs and arched windows. On the roof, the swimming pool faces the Aravalli hills, with loungers, towels and poolside dining, and the Roof Top Cafe serves snacks and beverages from breakfast at sunrise to dinner under the stars.
For celebrations there is a banquet hall with heritage interiors, where we host weddings; for work, there are versatile spaces with audiovisual facilities and high-speed Wi-Fi for meetings and events.

Sukher is on Udaipur’s quieter side, north of the old city and well connected by road. Saheliyon Ki Bari and Fateh Sagar Lake are the nearest of the big sights; the City Palace and Lake Pichola are a little further:
