Travelling together, or staying long enough to want more than a bed? The Suite Room gives you room to spread out: carved chairs and a table to sit at, a desk for planning the next day, a wardrobe to unpack into, and a bed you’ll be glad to come back to after a day in the old city.

What’s in the Suite Room

The room is arranged around a dark-wood four-poster bed hung with sheer canopy curtains and made up in white linen, with a mustard-gold runner and cushions. Above it, a hand-painted medallion decorates the ceiling, and the green and white marble floor stays cool underfoot in Udaipur’s hot months.

Two carved dark-wood chairs and a low table make a seating area of their own – somewhere to sit with a cup of tea, read or plan the next day. There’s also a writing desk with a chair, a wardrobe, a mirror, a wall-mounted smart TV and a tea/coffee maker with a kettle.

A family room in Udaipur

The Suite Room is the one we suggest to families: the largest of our three room types, with a seating area as well as the bed, and suites made up with a king-size bed or with queen-size or twin beds. Tell us who’s travelling when you enquire – the reservations team will suggest the set-up that suits you, and tell you whether an extra bed is possible.

The bathroom

The private bathroom has grey geometric wall tiles, a basin on a marble shelf and a wall-hung toilet, with towels, toiletries and hot and cold water. Would you rather have a bath? Ask about a room in Udaipur with a bathtub when you enquire.

Suite, Super Deluxe or Deluxe?

In short

Suite Room: 375 sq ft, a canopy four-poster, a seating area and a writing desk. Super Deluxe Room: 300 sq ft, a four-poster bed and a tea/coffee maker. Deluxe Room: 225 sq ft and a king-size bed, with breakfast included.

Choose the Suite if you’re travelling as a family, staying several nights or simply want the most space. If you mostly need a comfortable bed and breakfast before a day of sightseeing, the Deluxe Room is the simpler choice. Compare all three rooms side by side.

Breakfast

Breakfast is included with the Deluxe Room. For the Suite Room, ask the reservations team whether breakfast is included when you enquire – they’ll confirm it with your availability and payment details, so you know what your booking covers before you pay.

Around the hotel

The hotel is in Sukher, on Udaipur’s quieter side to the north of the old city: the City Palace is about 9.2 km away, around 25 min by car. At the hotel, the rooftop swimming pool faces the Aravalli hills, the Roof Top Cafe serves snacks and drinks from breakfast at sunrise to dinner under the stars, and the multi-cuisine restaurant cooks everything from traditional Rajasthani dishes to continental favourites. Room service is available if you’d rather stay in.
